Badger State Maintenance

About Badger State Maintenance

Milton sits where Highways 26 and 59 cross, a town stitched together from two old railroad villages, and winter finds it early. Badger State Maintenance is out before the streetlights click off, pushing snow from driveways so the morning shift can back out clean. When the drifts finally give way to green, the same hands turn to mowing and trimming, keeping yards sharp from the historic Milton House corner to the newer streets at the edge of town. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway scraped down to blacktop while the sky is still pink, and in a fresh-mowed lawn that squares the whole street up. That is the work, done steadily, in a town that notices.
