WE DO STUMP GRINDING

About WE DO STUMP GRINDING

Merrill sits where the Prairie River hands itself over to the Wisconsin, and it is a town that keeps its parks the way other places keep good silverware. WE DO STUMP GRINDING removes trees that have gone brittle or outgrown the spot they chose, trims the limbs that scrape a garage roof, then erases the leftovers — the stump taken below grade, the hole filled with its own chips, ready for seed. Spring here is a slow negotiation: frost leaves the ground in stages and the river runs high past the pines upstream. Working with that rather than against it means a lawn that heals over by the first mowing instead of carrying a scar all summer. The measure of a good day is a yard where the only evidence is the room that wasn't there before.
