About Steve's Excavating & Landscaping

March in Mercer is a season of its own — snowbanks going gray, sleds still running the trails, gravel drives softening by afternoon and locking up again by dark. Steve's Excavating & Landscaping works both ends of that calendar: plowing, scraping and clearing through the deep months, then mowing, trimming and cleaning up once the ground firms and the green returns. The lawns here sit in sandy soil between the lakes, so cleanups matter as much as cutting — needles, blowdown, whatever winter chose to leave. Come summer the mowing follows a schedule the grass sets rather than the one on the wall. It adds up to the same thing twice a year: a yard that looks looked-after, and a drive scraped down to gravel no matter what fell overnight.
