About Z & S Outdoor Solutions

Three in the morning on Donges Bay Road, and the only lights for half a mile are amber ones, sweeping. Z & S Outdoor Solutions runs Mequon's snow while the town sleeps straight through it, because a driveway opened at four is worth more than a driveway opened at nine. The work is plowing, shoveling, and the patient business of the second pass, after the wind off the lake has drifted the first one shut again. There is a plain pride in pulling away from a house with the drive bare to the pavement, the walk cut square to the door, and nobody inside yet awake to see it. By the time traffic thins out onto Mequon Road, the night is already behind them and the sky is only starting to go grey.
