Spring Green

About Spring Green

Late March is the strangest stretch of the Wisconsin year — mud in the mornings, frost heaves in the driveway, and grass that is technically alive but not yet convinced. Spring Green works Mequon lawns from that first thaw forward, opening the year with cleanups that lift the matted layer so light and air can reach the crowns. After that comes the steady business of mowing, trimming, and edging as the turf finds its stride through May and June. Lawn care here is largely a long argument with the calendar, and the calendar moves fast once it gets going. By the time the lilacs go over, the yards look as though they had been awake the whole while.
