Matt's Landscape

About Matt's Landscape

The first cut of the year in Mequon is a small ceremony. Sometime in April the frost lets go for good, the maples along the county roads flush red at their tips, and the grass comes up all at once after weeks of doing absolutely nothing. Matt's Landscape opens the season right about then — knocking down that first heavy growth, raking out whatever winter left in the corners, edging beds back to a clear line — and stays on schedule until the last leaf is down. Summer is mowing, trimming, and clearing the drive; October is cleanup. Every visit ends the same way, with the walks swept and the place looking cared for.
