About J.R. Boehlke, Inc.

An Alberta clipper comes through fast and mean: not much snow, enormous wind, and a temperature that drops while you watch it. On Mequon's higher ground west of the river, where the land rolls up into low glacial ridges, that wind scours one side of a driveway bare and buries the other under a foot of hard pack. J.R. Boehlke, Inc. plows through it — drives and lots opened up, walkways cleared, salt laid where the grade wants to send a car sideways. The work keeps whatever hours the storm keeps, and it repeats as long as the sky does. What's left behind is a drive cut down to the pavement and a path to the door you can walk without thinking about it.
