The Lawn Enforcer

About The Lawn Enforcer

Mequon still keeps its old farm bones — the long lots out toward Freistadt Road where fields once ran unbroken to the treeline, now measured out into lawns that take real walking to cross. The Lawn Enforcer works those distances in the flat gold light of a Wisconsin afternoon, when the mower's line is the only straight thing for a mile. Every pass gets its edge cut clean along the drive, so the grass stops exactly where it should and the concrete looks like someone drew it with a ruler. Out at the Mequon Nature Preserve the prairie is welcome to do whatever it likes; here on the mown side of the fence, order is the entire point. This is lawn care in a town with room enough to show it off — cut, trimmed, edged, and then left quiet until the week comes around again.
