About White Enterprises

On a clear February night north of Menomonie the moon comes off fresh snow bright enough to read by, and the long driveways up on the ridges lie buried and blue. White Enterprises works those hours — plowing the drives open, clearing lots, shoveling the last few feet to the door and salting what the sun will slick over tomorrow. Winter here does not do things by halves, and a place that is cleared properly the first time stays manageable through the rest of the storm. The best part is the leaving: pavement showing, walk bare, everything ready for a morning that has not started yet. Menomonie and the towns around it are the route.
