About Meadowlark Landscape Design LLC

There are still corners of sandy prairie south of Menomonie where a meadowlark will sit on a fence wire in May and pour out that long falling whistle over the grass. Meadowlark Landscape Design LLC keeps the domestic version of that in good order — lawns mowed even, trimmed and edged, tended week to week so a yard settles into the land instead of fighting it. The valley light here is generous from late spring through September, and a well-kept lawn takes it beautifully, deep green right up to the walk. Cutting at the right height, at the right interval, is most of the secret. Menomonie and the small towns around it are where the work goes.
