About DKS Construction Services

A Dunn County blizzard does its worst work in the open, where wind runs unbroken across a cut cornfield and lays a drift right where a driveway meets the road. DKS Construction Services goes out into that — plowing, pushing the banks back, cutting a way through to the pavement so morning can happen normally. Snow around Menomonie rarely falls politely; it comes sideways at night and needs answering before daylight, and often twice. The good moment is the one at the end, engine idling, a clean black drive behind you and the storm still going. Menomonie and the surrounding countryside are the territory.
