About Colgate Lawn Service LLC

Colgate is a crossroads more than a town, a scatter of houses in the Town of Lisbon where the land starts to buckle toward the kettles and Holy Hill's twin spires stand up out of the treeline to the northwest. Colgate Lawn Service LLC mows out of that country and down into Menomonee Falls, working yards that still half remember being pasture. Early summer mornings begin in dew, the first pass darkening a wet stripe across the grass. Trimming around fenceposts and old maples, edging the front walk, blowing the drive clean — the small finishing moves that make a lawn look decided rather than merely shortened. By the time the sun is high the machines are two towns over and the yard behind them is quiet and even.
