About Blaze Landscape Contracting

West of the village the ground goes shallow and stony, Lannon ledge sitting close beneath the sod — pale layered limestone quarried nearby and stacked into garden walls all over Waukesha County. Blaze Landscape Contracting mows and tends grass grown on that thin soil around Menomonee Falls, where a lawn earns its green. October is the long push: leaves off the beds and the turf, the last cut taken low, everything squared away before the ground locks. Then the plow goes on, and those same driveways get opened at whatever hour the snow finishes falling. Dusk in November, headlights swinging into a cul-de-sac, salt going down on a walk — that is a good part of the year here.
