About Lemmer Snowplowing LLC

Marathon City sits in ginseng country, where shade cloth stripes the summer fields and winter comes down the Rib River valley with a seriousness all its own. Lemmer Snowplowing LLC is built for that half of the year. On the twenty-below nights when the snow squeaks underfoot, the truck is already moving — lots first, then the long drives, then back around for the walks and the salt. The plow lines run straight because straight is faster, and faster means everyone's morning starts on pavement instead of powder. In a town that measures winter by the foot, that steadiness counts for something.
