About Simply Snow and Lawn LLC

There is a week in October when the oaks at Sheehan Park go copper and the first hard frost is still somewhere out over Iowa, coming on. Simply Snow and Lawn LLC spends that week on both sides of the turn: the last mowings of the year, the fall cleanup, leaves lifted off the turf and out of the beds. Then the plow gets bolted on, the phone starts ringing at odd hours instead of business ones, and the answer is an open driveway, a shoveled walk, salt where the slope wants to glaze. By April it all runs backwards again, melt to rake to mow to edge, the yard waking up on schedule. The name is the whole list, and the list is the year.
