Madison Landscape And Snow Removal

About Madison Landscape And Snow Removal

Winter reaches the isthmus sideways, off the open ice of Lake Mendota and straight down Sherman Avenue. Madison Landscape And Snow Removal works the hours before the streetlights give way to gray, plowing drives and clearing walks around Tenney Park while the locks sit frozen shut. There is real satisfaction in pavement scraped down to its own color, the apron salted, everything open before the first car tries the incline. You learn a neighborhood by its wind — which corners load up, which north-facing stoops hold ice until three in the afternoon. When the truck pulls away, the only sound left is a shovel a block over, somebody else waking into an easy morning.
