Autumn's Tree Care and Seasonal Services

About Autumn's Tree Care and Seasonal Services

Madison hangs between two lakes, and on an October morning the isthmus fills with mist while the Capitol dome catches the first light above it. Autumn's Tree Care and Seasonal Services works the neighborhoods under that skyline — bur oaks older than the streets they shade, terrace maples pruned back off the sidewalks, removal for the ash that has finally given out. Wind comes off Mendota with nothing between it and a backyard, so storm damage cleanup belongs to the year here, limbs cleared and the lawn combed clean on the same visit. In tight city lots the craft is all rigging: pieces lowered on rope, nothing dropped, the garden underneath untouched. Madison, Middleton, Monona, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie are all a short run away.
