About S.D.A. LawnService LLC

The Ahnapee River slides quietly through Algoma on its way to the lake, and in October its banks go copper and rust. That is cleanup season for S.D.A. LawnService LLC — leaves gathered, lawns given their last short cut, everything settled before the first hard blow comes off the water. All summer the work is mowing along the streets and out by the old rail trail; all winter it is plowing and clearing those same addresses when Kewaunee County snow piles in. Working one small town across the whole year, you learn its yards the way you learn a neighbor's face. The river keeps moving, the seasons trade places, and the work keeps up.
