About Steen Landscaping

The hills around Luck are glacier-made, humped and kettled, and by late October the maples on them have let go and the wind carries a bite that means business. Steen Landscaping reads that calendar closely — the last mowings, the trimming and edging that tidy a yard before dormancy, the leaf cleanup that keeps turf from suffocating under a wet mat. Then the plows go on. Drives get pushed back to their full width, walks shoveled to bare concrete, salt worked into the places where ice keeps returning. From the first cut of spring to the deepest week of a Polk County winter, Luck, Milltown, Frederic, Balsam Lake and Amery are the ground covered.
