Zempel Lawn & Order

About Zempel Lawn & Order

The town of Lind lies south of Waupaca in a country of low hills, potato ground, and roads that run straight until they don't. Zempel Lawn & Order patrols it in both seasons — mowing and trimming while the fields are green, plowing and shoveling when the same fields turn white and the wind gets room to work. Winter drifts hard across open land here, so driveways are cleared with the next gust in mind, banks set where they won't blow back in. Summer asks for the opposite touch: clean lines, neat edges, grass cut before it thinks about going to seed. Order, in other words, kept the whole year round, one yard at a time.
