About Blaser Construction

Snow coming down off the bay does not ask permission; it crosses the Fox valley on a north wind and packs itself into the end of every driveway. Blaser Construction meets it at four in the morning, plowing drives and lots around the Town of Lawrence, cutting walkways down to bare pavement and putting salt where ice wants to set up. The measure of a night like that is simple — headlights on a black driveway at six, and nobody late for anything. There is quiet pleasure in being the reason a street looks passable while the rest of it is still buried. Winter runs long in this corner of Brown County, and the plowing runs right along with it.
