Lake Mills Lawn & Snow

About Lake Mills Lawn & Snow

The county highways out of Janesville run straight through farm country, and you come to know a place by driving it in every kind of light — hay fields in July, black-and-white pasture in February. Lake Mills Lawn & Snow works that spread of ground: cutting lawns and shaping their edges through the warm months, then bringing out the plow and the shovel once the roads go pale. Rural weather and town weather are two different problems arriving on the same day, and both show up here. Getting a driveway open on a morning when the wind has already filled it back in twice is honest satisfaction. So is a lawn cut level on a hot afternoon.
