About Firescape LLC

The White River runs low and dark through Geneva in November, steaming a little on the morning the first hard freeze arrives — the signal that plow season has come. Firescape LLC spends the cold half of the year on driveways, lots and walkways, moving snow before it packs down and treating the ice that follows a thaw. The work happens at odd hours: a two-inch dusting at nine at night, a foot of it at four in the morning, whatever the sky decides. What stays with you is the sound of a shovel finishing the last three feet of a walk by hand, because no blade can reach a front step. That is the whole job — a path to your own door, open before you need it.
