DOC's LAWN SERVICE

About DOC's LAWN SERVICE

Summer gets to Ladysmith late and then works fast, and by June the evening light is lying long across the brick fronts on Miner Avenue. DOC's LAWN SERVICE keeps the town's grass in hand through that short, generous stretch — mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that open spring and close out fall. A northern lawn grows hard between thaw and frost, which makes the weekly rhythm matter more than any single cut. The reward is in the details: stripes laid straight, the line along a sidewalk cut clean enough to show the concrete's true edge, clippings blown off the walk before the truck pulls away. Come October the maples hand the whole year back, and the work turns to hauling it off so the yard goes into winter tidy.
