About Northwoods Home Maintenance INC

Lac du Flambeau means lake of the torches, and on a February night here you understand why light matters — the snow comes deep, the dark comes early, and the plow's beams may be the only glow on the road. Northwoods Home Maintenance INC keeps lanes and doorpaths open through Vilas County winters that run from November's first heavy fall to April's stubborn last one. Cabin drives, home driveways, the path to the woodpile: all of it cleared, again and again, as the lake country stacks up its snowpack. The frozen lakes go silent and white, the pines stand shouldering their snow, and the trucks keep their rounds. Up here, an open driveway in midwinter is not a small thing — it is the way home.
