About Z's Lawn & Landscaping Inc

October on the east edge of town, the oaks above Hixon Forest turn the color of old copper and the wind sends them down over every lawn below. Z's Lawn & Landscaping Inc answers with rakes, blowers and a truck that keeps coming back until the grass is clear again, because turf buried under wet leaves goes into winter sick and comes out of it thin. The rest of the calendar is the steady part: mowing to a schedule, trimming what the deck cannot reach, feeding and weed control timed to the year, borders held clean where lawn meets drive. Spring cleanup opens the ground back up, and the way a yard looks in May sets the tone for everything after. Done well, none of it announces itself — you simply notice the place looks right every time you pull in.
