About Tom's Bobcat & Snowplowing Inc

Deep in February the snow in town has nowhere left to go, and the alleys narrow to a single lane between banks taller than a mailbox. Tom's Bobcat & Snowplowing Inc works right through that — plowing, clearing drives and walks, pushing the piles back so the next storm has room to land. There is a knack to deciding where snow goes in a river city built tight against a bluff, and getting it wrong costs somebody a parking space until April. When the melt finally runs down the gutters and the grass shows through gray, the season flips and the mowing starts. Same properties, same attention, minus about four feet of winter.
