About All Elements Lawn & Snow

From the overlook on Grandad Bluff the whole valley reads like a map: three rivers braiding together, the street grid laid out in blue shadow, and somewhere down there a driveway waiting to be opened before the coffee cools. All Elements Lawn & Snow works both ends of that map — plowing and clearing walks through a La Crosse winter, then mowing and trimming once the valley goes green again. Winter arrives here in the dark, on a northwest wind, and the reward is the sound of a shovel finishing a walk while the sky is still the color of slate. Come June the same properties get straight cutting lines and a trimmed border along the front walk. It is the ordinary work of keeping a place usable, done twice a year in two entirely different languages.
