About Strait Turf

The wind reaches inland from Lake Michigan most afternoons, running across Kohler's open lawns and laying the grass over in sheets of light and dark. Strait Turf makes something of that with mowing, edging and lawn care — passes laid straight, the stripe carried the full length of a yard without a wobble. Holding a line true takes patience with a slope and a fixed point to steer by, same as steering anything else. Up close the work is turf health: clean cut, right height, borders held where they belong. From the road it is just a lawn that looks like it was drawn with a ruler.
