About Matt's Services LLC

Some nights the bands come in off Lake Michigan one behind another, and Kewaunee takes an inch an hour while the old tug Ludington sits white to the rails on the waterfront. That is when Matt's Services LLC is moving — snow removal on driveways, lots and the approaches people actually need open at six in the morning. Plowing a lake town is less about power than patience: you go back, and back again, and you keep the piles where they will not blind a driver at the corner. The reward is a sound a shovel never has to make. Come daylight the streets are still buried and the drives are not.
