About JJ's Cutting Edge, L.L.C.

July afternoons in Ashippun build thunderheads over the corn, and the trick is to have the mowing finished before they let go. JJ's Cutting Edge, L.L.C. runs its routes with one eye on that sky — village lawns, farmsteads, and rural lots across this corner of Dodge County, out toward Neosho and Oconomowoc. The Ashippun River loops low and lazy through the township, keeping the bottomland green even in a dry August. A finished yard here has a certain look: striped, edged, squared away against whatever the weather intends. Getting every lawn to that look, week after week, is the whole enterprise.
