Prairie Ridge Lawn Service

About Prairie Ridge Lawn Service

Down along the state line, Chiwaukee Prairie still holds the grass that was here before the streets were, and in September its seed heads turn copper in the last hour of light. Prairie Ridge Lawn Service takes its name from that country and works both of its seasons — mowing, trimming and cleanups through the green months, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ridge lines start catching drift. In winter the wind off open ground is the whole story; it fills a driveway back in behind you. In summer it is the opposite, a slow steady growth that rewards a schedule kept. Same yards, opposite problems, one route.
