L & L Snow Removal Services

About L & L Snow Removal Services

At three in the morning the wind swings northeast off Lake Michigan and pushes snow sideways past the Southport Light, and that is when L & L Snow Removal Services goes to work. Lake-effect bands keep their own schedule, so the trucks run by feel rather than forecast: driveways and lots opened wide, walks and steps cleared down to the surface, salt laid where the afternoon melt will freeze again by morning. The shoreline streets take the worst of it and get the first pass. The reward is small and completely real — a black driveway waiting under the porch light, and a car that leaves on time. By the time the highway plows finish their loops, these customers are already gone to work.
