About Butler Brothers LLC

Morning comes up flat and wide over Dodge County, and the dew on a Juneau lawn holds that early sun like glass. Butler Brothers LLC starts in that hour — mowers working the same yard from opposite ends, meeting in the middle with the lines matched. The country around town is big and open, corn running to the tree lines, and the lawns sit in it like clearings; keeping them cut is what makes a homestead look tended instead of swallowed. Trimming follows the mowing, cleanup follows the trimming, and the trailer is loaded before the day turns hot. By supper the route reads as a string of squared-away yards across the Juneau countryside.
