About Schroeders Lawn & Snow LLC
February in this county is the long stretch — old snow, hard wind, and a sun that shines without warming much of anything. Schroeders Lawn & Snow LLC works that month the way it deserves, plowing and shoveling and clearing what the wind puts right back across a driveway an hour after it was opened. Drifting is the local complication, since the western edge of Janesville lies open to the fields and a lane can close itself twice in a single night. The reward is small and real: a clean apron, a walk taken down to the concrete, a car that gets out without spinning. Snow here is less an event than a season, and it gets handled that way.
