Tanner's Lawn and Landscape

About Tanner's Lawn and Landscape

The far southwest corner of Wisconsin never met a glacier, and it shows: around Jamestown the land folds into limestone ridges and creek-cut valleys all the way down toward the Mississippi. Tanner's Lawn and Landscape mows and shapes yards in this driftless corner of Grant County, where a lawn is rarely flat and morning light tops Sinsinawa Mound before it reaches anyone's porch. The work follows the contour — clean passes along a slope, beds tucked against old stone, edges cut sharp where grass meets gravel lane. By evening the valleys take shade early while the ridgetops stay gold, and a freshly finished yard sits in that light like it belongs to the hills. That is the aim every time: grass that looks at home in steep, beautiful country.
