Blue Ribbon

About Blue Ribbon

Out in Jackson the wind crosses the open farm country of Washington County with nothing to slow it, and by morning the snow has drifted into the shape of every fence line. Blue Ribbon provides snow removal in the village, clearing driveways and walks so the day can start on bare pavement. There is a particular satisfaction in a drive cleared while Highway 60 is still dark and the only lights in town are a few kitchen windows. Out at Jackson Marsh the cattails stand frosted and motionless, and back on the home streets the plowed edges run straight and square. Winter here asks for patience and a steady blade, and Blue Ribbon brings both.
