About Mares Excavating & Landscape

Fog fills the coulees around Ithaca on late-summer mornings, and the ridgetops rise out of it like islands until the sun burns it off. Mares Excavating & Landscape tends lawns in this rumpled corner of Richland County, where yards slope toward creek bottoms and the grass grows thick in the humid valley air. The work is lawn care done with an eye for the land: mowing that follows the contour, trimming that keeps fence lines and farm lanes tidy, a finished yard that looks at home in the hills. When the fog lifts and the light pours in, the green underneath is ready for it.
