About Oak and Iron LLC

August evenings out toward Long Lake stretch long and gold, and the last pass of the mower goes down with the sun still hanging over the tree line. Oak and Iron LLC keeps lawns around Iron River — mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that carry a northern yard in and out of the cold. In this country a lawn is always in conversation with the woods around it, oak and pine leaning in at every border, and the craft is holding that line kindly instead of fighting it. There is a particular pleasure in the second the trimmer shuts off and you can hear the water again, a clean edge running the whole length of the walk. The grass will keep growing; that is the arrangement.
