About J P Enterprises

On a hard January morning in Independence, the dome of Saints Peter and Paul stands over a white town, Bugle Lake lies frozen at the foot of the hill, and somewhere a plow is already working. That plow is often J P Enterprises, clearing driveways and walks through the Trempealeau valley's deep-winter stretches. Snow funnels down these driftless valleys and digs in with intent; the answer is a blade, a route, and a crew that starts in the dark. Pavement first, banks pushed clean, approaches cut wide enough for the school bus. By the time the church bells find the cold air, the streets below are ready for the day.
