About Cedar Birch Tree Service

Hazel Green sits up on the last ridges before the Illinois line, in country the glaciers never flattened, with walnut and hickory in the hollows, old mining ground under the pasture and roads that follow the high line between valleys. Cedar Birch Tree Service works those ridges and the draws below them, removing hardwoods gone hollow above a farmhouse, trimming back whatever crowds a lane, pruning so a young walnut heads straight up instead of sideways. Ice is the real event here, since a February glaze puts more weight into a crown than any summer squall, and the cleanup runs for days across that corner of Grant County. There is a particular satisfaction in a ridgetop yard set right, the brush hauled off and the view south restored. The hills take care of the rest.
