About Northwoods Landscaping & Design

Where Hayward yards meet the Chequamegon, grass grows in half-shade and gives ground back to moss and fern if nobody argues with it. Northwoods Landscaping & Design keeps that line drawn — mowing, string trimming, crisp edges along beds and drives, and cleanups at both ends of the season. September is the finest month for the work: cool air, few bugs, the maples beginning to turn and the lawn finally growing at a reasonable pace. The pleasure is all in the contrast, a kept green yard sitting right up against a whole lot of unkept forest.
