About Grounds Keeper, Inc.

The Bark River slips right through the middle of town, low and unhurried, and the yards near it come up green early and stay damp the longest. Grounds Keeper, Inc. works around that water — mowing when the ground will carry a machine, trimming the soft edges by hand, keeping bed lines crisp where turf meets stone. Weekly service runs from the first flush of May growth all the way to the last leaf sweep in November. What lasts is the impression from the street: even color, clean margins, nothing ragged where a lawn ends. Hartland and its neighbors — Delafield, Merton, Pewaukee and Nashotah — make up the map.
