Jacks Leaf and Lawn

About Jacks Leaf and Lawn

October reaches Harmony on a northwest wind, and the maples answer by letting go of everything at once. Jacks Leaf and Lawn takes it from there: the drifts banked against the fence, the wet mats under the porch steps, the scatter that blankets a lawn just when the grass needs light the most. By late afternoon the turf shows through again, raked out and cleared, green beneath a sky already turning rose. When spring returns, the same patience goes into the first cuts of the season. It's honest, visible work, the kind a neighbor can admire from the road.
