Bluemel's Garden & Landscape Center

About Bluemel's Garden & Landscape Center

Greenfield winters arrive the Milwaukee way — snow at rush hour, slush that hardens overnight, then a bright cold morning that makes everything glitter and everything slick. Bluemel's Garden & Landscape Center answers with plow trucks and salt, clearing driveways, parking areas, and walks across the city's close-set neighborhoods before the day gets moving. A garden and landscape center knows the outdoors in every month, and the winter side of the operation runs with the same order as the greenhouse side. Routes are tight in a city of short blocks, so the work is timed to the storm rather than the clock. By the time the school buses roll, the pavement is black and wet and behaving.
