JT Tree Service

About JT Tree Service

In October the sky over Crex Meadows fills with sandhill cranes staging by the thousand, and the pine barrens around Grantsburg open into that long, clear light. JT Tree Service uses those weeks, pruning and trimming yard trees ahead of the snow, removing jack pine and oak that have died back or begun leaning toward a roof, clearing whatever the November wind pulls out of a crown. Burnett County ground is sand and the winters run long, so a tree that fails here usually fails all at once, across the driveway, at the worst possible hour. Getting to it quickly is the whole of the service. The rest is what people remember afterward: brush gone, grass unmarked, the road toward the St. Croix open again.
