The Ozaukee Interurban Trail runs a straight, level line through Grafton where the electric cars used to run, and yards back onto it the whole way. CDR Landscape keeps those lawns cut through the warm months and clears the drives and walks that feed them once the lake starts throwing snow inland. Winter work here begins in the dark — headlights on white, the scrape, the turn, a pass along the walk so the morning has somewhere to put its feet. Summer is a different rhythm entirely: mower, trimmer, blower, and a straight edge left along the curb. Grafton, Cedarburg, Port Washington and Mequon all get the same two halves of the year.
