About JG Green Horizons, LLC

Glen Haven tucks itself between steep wooded bluffs and the Mississippi, a small river town where summer evening light slides across the water toward the far shore. Towboats push their barges past, eagles ride the air above the current, and the whole valley glows for an hour before dark. JG Green Horizons, LLC looks after lawns along this stretch of river country, keeping yards mown and edged so they sit tidy at the foot of the hills. The horizon here is a big one, with river, bluff and sky stacked together, and a well-kept lawn makes the right foreground for it. When the sun drops behind the Iowa bluffs, the grass is cut and the view is complete.
