Mosquito Primo

About Mosquito Primo

At dusk in July the low cedar ground south of Gillett lets out a cool breath, and the light over the fields goes long and yellow before it goes at all. Mosquito Primo works the daylight ahead of that — mowing, trimming and edging yards in the village and along the country roads that run out of it. Grass up here grows in a rush between the last frost and the first, so the season is short and the schedule stays tight. Mown a little high, it holds moisture through a dry August and comes back thick. What you get for it is visible from the mailbox: an even lawn with edges that look drawn.
