Casey's Tree Services

About Casey's Tree Services

Evening runs long in Gillett in June, cut hay in the air, the Oconto River low and warm, the Machickanee woods going dark before the fields do. Casey's Tree Services works from the farmsteads out along Highway 32 to the lots at the forest edge, removing what has died over a barn or a driveway, trimming crowns back from the roofline, pruning young trees into a shape that will hold snow come winter. Oconto County weather does not negotiate, and when it lays a maple across the yard fence the cleanup means limbs, brush and ruts all dealt with in a single visit. The pleasure here is arriving to a mess and leaving a lawn. That, and the drive home afterward with the windows down.
